We are delighted to announce that our company Design Abled Ltd (creators of award-winning brand Helloface), has been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards, organised by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce. We have been shortlisted as finalists in the Green Award and Most Promising New Business Award categories.
Nicknamed the ‘Oscars of Hertfordshire’, the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards were launched in 2012 to celebrate the outstanding contribution that businesses make in the county.
Our nomination for the Green Award category comes as a response to our net zero commitment, and also as a result of our sustainable Transparent Medical Mask alternative to opaque Type IIR face masks.
We have been shortlisted in the Green Award category together with JPA Workspaces, Sonovision and the University of Hertfordshire. The Green Award category is sponsored by Ambition Broxbourne, the Borough of Broxbourne’s economic growth initiative.
In the Most Promising New Business Award category, we are shortlisted alongside EziDrops, Uplifted Magazine and ACellsZ. This category is sponsored by Cleveland Scott York.
Speaking about the two nominations, Dean Ezekiel of Design Abled said: “I am thrilled that our team has been shortlisted for the Green Award and Most Promising New Business Award. To be a finalist in these categories demonstrates how far we have come as a team, and how bright the future is for sustainable and innovative medical devices from Design Abled.”
The winners of the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards will be announced at a very special gala dinner at the Warner Bros Studio on 9th June 2022. We are looking forward to celebrating with all those who are shortlisted, alongside the sponsors and judges.
We are fully committed to ensuring that as a Design Abled brand, Helloface represents the core values of the business while creating groundbreaking, innovative products that help people function better physically, mentally and socially.
